Application for Ordinary Members (Ordinary membership) (Sections and Groups membership)

General information – Anyone who contributes to the progress of statistical sciences through theoretical or applied research, to the development of teaching of statistical disciplines or to the enhancement of statistical services can become Ordinary Member. Ordinary Members take part in the Society’s scientific activity, have voting right in Assemblies, can be appointed to all the offices and receive SIS publications according to the terms established by the Executive Board.

New Ordinary Members admission– Candidates to membership should fill in the Form and, in the absence of a ORCID ID, send a Curriculum Vitae and a publications list. Candidates' applications will be examined by a Committee especially appointed by the Executive Board.

Ordinary Members appointment is up to the Executive Board which shall see to it at least once a year.

Annual fee payment should be made within three months from acceptance communication as ordinary member.

 

ANNUAL ORDINARY MEMBERSHIP FEE


Ordinary fee: euros 70,00
Under 35 fee: euros 35,00

Fee for members up-to-date with membership fees since at least 5 consecutive years: euros 60,00
Retired ordinary members (members for at least 5 years and from one year after retirement): free


Fee includes membership to one section except for under 35 fee.
For each additional section please add euros 15,00
 

THREE-YEAR MEMBERSHIP FEE (2024-2025-2026)

Ordinary fee: euros 190,00
Under 35 fee: euros 100,00
Fee for members up-to-date with membership fees since at least 5 consecutive years: euros 160,00

Fee includes membership to one section except for under 35 fee.
For each additional section please add euros 45,00
